“Community Builders” further the Los Alamos Community Foundation’s mission to improve the quality of life in our community by inspiring, facilitating, and supporting enduring philanthropy and building the capacity and success of our nonprofit organizations.
Community Builders make a three-year pledge of a minimum of $1,000 per year to fuel the foundation’s work. This ongoing support is an investment in the foundation’s future sustainability. It benefits our local community and supports our growth so that together we can continue to Connect our Community through Enduring Philanthropy.

“Back in 2016, I was approached by David Izraelevitz and Don Cobb about their goal to start up the Los Alamos Community Foundation (LACF). With their passion, talent, and vision for the Foundation, I became excited to help support our community with this new nonprofit, honestly not knowing exactly where it would lead. Seeing the impact of the LACF on our community, support to nonprofit training, and the growing area of community philanthropy is a testament to the wonderful community we live in. I’m happy to be a donor, and I’m excited to see what the future will hold and what we can achieve together.”
