Frequently Asked Questions

What is it?

Enterprise Bank & Trust has created a challenge to benefit nonprofit organizations in the community of Los Alamos.  The bank pledged a total commitment of up to $150,000 ($50,000 per year for three years), but we don’t get the money unless we raise it!  Here’s where you can help.

Why should I give?

By making a gift to the Enterprise Bank & Trust Community Endowment, your contribution will be matched dollar for dollar. The funds will be placed in an unrestricted endowment, which will allow LACF to make grants to nonprofit organizations that are doing important work in our community.

Why endowment?

Endowments exist forever, which means that the impact of your gift will be felt today, and fifty years from now. LACF invests the funds, and the interest earnings are used to make annual grants to the community. The unrestricted nature of this endowment means that funding will always be available to address the changing needs of our community, both now and over time.

Who benefits?

Grants from this endowment will be available to nonprofit organizations that operate in or serve Los Alamos County.
